Will Powers, Jr. Obituary (1936 - 2022)

Bro. Will Powers was born to the late Bertha Q. Barnes on December 8,1936, in Boyce, Louisiana. He accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of First St. Mark Baptist Church. Bro. Will Powers, affectionately known as "Peck" departed this life on October 14, 2022. Peck is preceded in death by his mother, Bertha Q. Barnes; two sisters, Frankie L. McCullin and Ruthie M. Allen; two brothers, John Barnes, Jr. and Eli Barnes; and grandparents, Mason and Nancy Quinney. He leaves to cherish his memories, two sisters, Alice Williams and Mary Barnes, both of Alexandria, Louisiana; two brothers, Willie (Janice) Barnes of Alexandria, Louisiana and Robert ( Shirley) Barnes of Monroe, Louisiana; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
