Bighearted and caring, Wanda loved her family deeply. She was a strong woman with a fierce spirit and a bold personality—a natural leader whose presence was unmistakable. She enjoyed good food, watching television, and engaging in conversation. Her favorite color was royal blue, a fitting reflection of her vibrant presence.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Reuben Milliner, Jr., and Dorothy Rose Dixon Milliner; and her youngest brother, Curt Del Milliner.
Wanda leaves to cherish her memory her beloved daughter, Andréa Green of Humble, Texas; her brother, Gary D. Milliner of Pineville, Louisiana; her bonus daughter, T’Anita King of Houston, Texas, whom she lovingly regarded as her “Gift from God”; her niece, Shenise Powell (Matthew) of Natchitoches, Louisiana; her nephew, Jamar Milliner of Prairieville, Louisiana; and her best friend of more than 50 years, Phyllis Daughtry of Clinton, North Carolina.
Her memory will also be treasured by her three adopted grandchildren, PJ, Laurynn, and Imani; two great-nieces, CeCe and Maddie; one great-nephew, MJ; and a host of extended family members and friends.
