Rosetta Ann Johnson

Rosetta Ann Johnson was born March 1, 1971, to the union of Roger E. Price Sr. and the late Cynthia J. Price. She departed her earthly home on February 3, 2022 at her residence.

Rosetta accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Pleasant Green Baptist Church where she served in the youth choir and a faithful member in Sunday school.

Rosetta was educated in the Rapides Parish Schools and graduated from Peabody Magnet High School, class of 1990. She was a member of the Mighty Peabody Magnet High School Marching Band Flag Team. Later, she received her certification in Dental Assistance at Shaw Air Force in South Carolina. She worked as a Dental Assistant in both South Carolina and Louisiana for numerous years, working with both military and civilian patients.

Rosetta united in marriage to Kevin Nathaniel Johnson for 31 years and to their union they welcomed a beautiful baby girl Ashley La'tay Johnson. She was a caring mother to her daughter and a dedicated wife.

All who knew her appreciated her outgoing personality, awesome cooking, and unique fashion and hairstyles.
In addition to her mother Cynthia Jean Gentle Price she is preceded in death both maternal and paternal grandparents as well as her mother in law Anna Jean Pendergrass Johnson.

Rosetta leaves to cherish her memories, her devoted and loving husband (Kevin), charismatic and beautiful daughter (Ashley) of Los Angeles, Father Roger E. Price Sr. and his wife Sharon Price, three brothers, Anthony Ray Price Sr., Roger E. Price Jr. both of Alexandria, Louisiana and Mario Terrell Gentle of Houston Texas, step brother Jai Cotman of Austin Texas, two sister Tonya Yvette Price, and Mahogany Gentle both of Alexandria and host of nieces and nephews, family and friends.
