Reverend Darren Wayne Simmons, 56, passed away on Monday, May 10, 2021, at Rapides Regional Medical Center, in Alexandria, Louisiana. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 22, 2021, at Ministries Unlimited once known as Progressive Baptist Church, in Alexandria, LA. Public viewing and visitation will begin at 9 am with services beginning at 10 am. Immediately following the services he will be taken to Garden of Memories Cemetery, in Alexandria, LA, for final committal rights. Please keep the Simmons and Brew family in prayer.
