Patrick Battles, III

Patrick Lee Battles, III was born on December 15, 2004, in Alexandria, Louisiana, to Patrick Lee Battles, II and Charita C. Cooks. On Thursday, August 13, 2026, Patrick departed this life at the age of 21.

Patrick was a proud graduate of Peabody Magnet High School, Class of 2024. He previously worked as a maintenance worker with the Council on Aging, where he served others through his work. At the time of his passing, Patrick was focused on building his future through entrepreneurship.

A young man with vision and determination, Patrick was the owner of his own clothing line, Sakkrunna Apparel. He took pride in his entrepreneurial journey and enjoyed creating something that represented his own ideas and ambitions.

Patrick will be remembered for his funny, goofy personality and his love for making others laugh. His joyful spirit could brighten a room, and those who knew him could always count on him for a good laugh. He also loved to cook and could prepare just about anything. Fishing was another favorite pastime, and his favorite color was green.

Above all, Patrick loved his family deeply. He especially enjoyed being an uncle and cherished the time he spent with his nieces and nephews, whom he adored.

Patrick leaves to cherish his loving memory his mother, Charita C. Cooks; his father, Patrick Lee Battles, II; his seven siblings; his beloved nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends whose lives were touched by his presence.

Though Patrick’s earthly journey was brief, the laughter he shared, the love he gave, and the dreams he pursued will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Celebration of Life
Funeral services honoring the life of Patrick Lee Battles, III will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 11 16th Street, Alexandria, Louisiana 71301.

Public Viewing & Visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. and continue until the time of service.

Following the service, Patrick will be laid to rest in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Alexandria, Louisiana.
