Orelia R. Price Obituary (1935

Orelia Rock Price affectionally known as, "Nanny Bue", was born on July 12, 1935, to the parentage of Alex and Izemma Rock. Orelia departed this life of April 6, 2021, at Rapides Regional Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard B. Price and a loving brother, Alex Rock, Jr. Orelia was a member of First Union Baptist Church, for many years, under the leadership of Rev. Lee, where she remained until her death. Orelia leaves to cherish her memories, one daughter, Alexis Quinney; 2 sisters, Eula Jackson of Los Angelos, California, and Nettie Belvin of Alexandria, Louisiana; sister/cousin, Zettie Prescott; sister/friend, Gloria Brown, 5 nieces, 3 nephews, 3 grandchildren, a host of relatives and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, in Alexandria, Louisiana. Public viewing and visitation will begin 10 am with services beginning at 11 am. Immediately following the services she will be taken to Alexandria National Cemetery, in Pineville, Louisiana, for final committal rights. Please keep the Rock/Price family in prayer.
