Lois Marie Jones

Lois Marie McQuarn Jones, was born on February 19, 1943, to the union of Israel McQuarn and Ethel Williams. The angels called her home on July 26, 2023, at the age of 80.

Lois accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mt. Triumph Baptist Church. She later joined Second Evening Star Baptist Church, where she served as an usher. She then joined New St. Mark Baptist Church where she faithfully served as an usher until her health begin to fail.

Lois worked as a cook and housekeeper.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Israel McQuarn and Ethel Williams McQuarn; her children, Janice Hopkins, Anthony Wayne Jones, and Debra Ann Rocha; siblings, Henry Stewart, Buddy Hunter, and Mack Albert McQuarn.

Lois leaves to cherish her memories, her children, Benjamin Jones, Jr. (Linda) and Michael Wayne Jones; 14 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; goddaughter, Carrie Jean McKinney.
