LaTangela Dawana Aught

LaTangela Dawana Aught, 46, affectionately known as "Tootsie", was born to Joe Laster and Pearly Jean Aught on January 14, 1974, in Houston, Texas. Tootsie departed from this life Thursday, November 19, 2020, at Memorial Herman Hospital in Houston, Texas surrounded by loved ones.

Tootsie was a 1992 graduate of Peabody Magnet High School. She later attended Loyola University in New Orleans, LA.

She was proceeded in death by her mother, Pearly Jean Aught; a son, Daylon Oshea Woodfox.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories, two sons, Fredrick and Jamari Woodfox; her father Joe Laster, all of Houston, TX; a sister, Tracy Aught of Alexandria, LA and Christian Laster of Houston, TX; four aunts, Flora Lewis (Shepherd) of Houston, TX; Lynn Dale Aught, Debria Aught, Mary Jefferson and one uncle Robert Aught Jr., all of Alexandria, LA; and a host of other relatives and friends.
