Joseph Wayne General

Joseph Wayne General was born on March 24, 1969 to Joseph Wayne Sampson and Lucy General. He was baptized at Greater Pilgrim Rest Baptist Church at a young age. Joseph departed this life on September 18,2021 at Hermann Memorial Hospital in Houston, Tx. Joseph was employed at Goodman Manufacturing Company as a landscaper. Joseph had a special love for his family, fishing, the highway, and Who Dat Nation (the New Orleans Saints).

Joseph leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Clarissa General; his mother, Lucy(Stanley) General Vital of Lake Charles, La; 5 daughters, Joeasia Milton of Alexandria, La and Jeniqua General of Houston, Tx; Alissa Prudhomme, Alana Prudhomme, and Alexis Arceneaux all of Houston, Tx; 2 sons, Anthony Anderson and Antwone Anderson both of Houston, Tx; 2 brothers, George(Linda) General of Alexandria, La and Charles General of Lake Charles, La., 1 very special grandson Karter Omar West of Alexandria, La and a host of other relatives and friends.

Joseph was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Wayne Sampson; his paternal grandparents Peter and Mary Sampson; his maternal grandparents Jake Gentle General Sr and Annie Lee Wilkins General.
