"To everything, there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance." Ecclesiastes 3:1-4
Brother Jerome Demond Stevenson was born on August 14, 1997 to Danielle Stevenson and Jerome Stelly in Alexandria, Louisiana. On November 6, 2023 our loved one departed his earthly life and entered into eternal rest. Jerome recently accepted Jesus Christ and was awaiting baptism by Pastor Derrick Lewis at Rebirth Transformation Ministry.
Life Reflections: Remembering Jerome, a special person who, despite not being famous, left a big impact on those who knew him. If he spotted you, he made sure you saw him. Though physically short, Jerome possessed a towering personality, leaving an everlasting mark on everyone who crossed paths with him. His deep love for family and the joy he found in their company defined him.
Jerome's uniqueness was unmistakable, and his absence will be deeply felt. Yet, he will live on forever in our hearts and minds, a testament to the lasting impressions he made. In his final chapter, he embarked on a spiritual journey, finding comfort in his faith. Jerome's eagerness to share his newfound connection with God, by proudly wearing his church clothes all day and going from house to house, became a symbol of his transformed soul.
Jerome's colorful personality, love for family, and newfound faith in God will always be a part of how we remember him.
Those Who Have Been Called Home: Jerome was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Barbara Anderson Stelly Lanehart; paternal grandfather, Peter Stelly, Jr.; and one sibling, John Bradford, Jr.
