The Life & Legacy of Jasmine Tr’Nay Offord
February 21, 1988 – September 29, 2026

Jasmine Tr’Nay Offord, affectionately known to family and friends as “Jazz,” was born on February 21, 1988, in Pineville, Louisiana, to Connie Lucas Offord and the late Bruce Offord. On Tuesday, September 29, 2026, Jasmine completed her earthly journey at Northside Hospital in Georgia at the age of 38.

From an early age, Jasmine possessed a caring heart, a quiet humility, and a genuine desire to help others. She was loving, compassionate, and almost always smiling. Her warm and giving spirit was evident in the way she lived, loved, served, and cared for those around her.

Jasmine was a proud graduate of Alexander Senior High School, Class of 2005. Dedicated to education and personal growth, she continued her studies and earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Louisiana College in 2009. She later obtained an Associate Degree in Health Care Administration through the United States Air Force and also earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.

Her commitment to service extended beyond the healthcare profession. Jasmine proudly served her country for 10 years in the United States Air Force, completing her military service with the rank of Staff Sergeant. Her years of military service reflected the discipline, dedication, and commitment to others that characterized so much of her life.

Professionally, Jasmine devoted herself to caring for others as a Registered Nurse and Certified Diabetes Educator. She worked with Northside Hospital in Lawrenceville and Duluth, Georgia, where she used her knowledge, compassion, and nursing expertise to educate and care for patients. For Jasmine, nursing was more than an occupation—it was another expression of her natural desire to help people.

Jasmine was a member of Rhema Empowerment Center, under the leadership of Apostle Stephenson Pace, where she continued her spiritual journey.

Away from her professional responsibilities, Jasmine found her greatest joy in spending time with her beloved son, Brayden. She also had a creative spirit and enjoyed art, drawing, and interior design. Always interested in learning and expanding her horizons, she also enjoyed studying real estate. Her favorite colors were pink and purple, colors that beautifully reflected her warm and vibrant personality.

Jasmine was preceded in death by her father, Bruce Offord; her infant sister, Baby Girl Offord; her maternal grandparents, Zeffie and Earl Lucas; and her paternal grandparents, Cassie and Samuel Offord.

Those left to cherish Jasmine’s beautiful memory include her beloved son, Brayden Offord of Duluth, Georgia; her devoted mother, Connie Offord of Alexandria, Louisiana; two sisters, Keesler Offord Augusta (Eddie) of Dallas, Georgia, and Natasha Offord Green (Aaron Green) of Alexandria, Louisiana; one brother, Desmond Offord of the Philippines; her dear friends, Shannon Kirby and Tiffany Reed; along with extended family, friends, coworkers, fellow veterans, and countless others whose lives were touched by her caring spirit.

Though Jasmine’s earthly journey ended far too soon, the impact of her life will remain. She served her country with honor, cared for others with compassion, pursued knowledge with determination, and loved her family deeply. Her smile, giving heart, and devotion to helping others will forever be remembered by those blessed to have known and loved her.

May the life of Jasmine “Jazz” Tr’Nay Offord continue to inspire all who knew her to live with kindness, serve with compassion, and love wholeheartedly.
