Germorius Lorenzo Reed was born in Alexandria, LA at Rapides Women's and Children's Hospital to Viola Reed (Kendrick Butler) and Reginald Mobbs. He was the older of four. Germorius Lorenzo Reed departed life on Thursday, February 4, 2021. Germorius Lorenzo Reed was baptized at an early age, at Destiny of Faith, in Lafayette, LA and he was raised by his mother Viola Reed aka Pumpkin. Germorius Lorenzo Reed enjoyed life. He graduated for Lafayette High School, Lafayette, LA. He always enjoyed rapping at a young age, music was his passion. Germorius loved his siblings and family. He enjoyed family gatherings, music and just having a good time dancing. When you saw Germorius he would always have a smile on his face, always laughing, that laugh was one of a kind. Germorius Lorenzo Reed worked at Popeyes in Pineville, LA. He was employee of the month. Germorius was know for working fast, being well dressed, and greeting with a smile always on his face. He also loved studio time, making music. Germorius Lorenzo Reed was caring, always willing to help others, always there to encourage others to do better in life. You could always go to him for advice and he would support everyone. He never met a stranger, everyone knew him. He was known to everyone as "Mario." Germorius met his fiance at the age of 16. He loved spending time and having fun with Trinetra, going to the movies, out to eat, out of town and shopping. After they graduated high school Germorius and Trinetra supported each other. They shared three children together, Aniya Reed, Mariah Reed, and Germorius Reed, Jr. Germorius enjoyed being a family man and taking care of his family. He always took his babies shopping and they enjoyed Chuck E. Cheese. He enjoyed the life of being a father. You couldn't tell him nothing about his babies. Germorius is preceded in death by his grandfather, Roy Lee Reed, grandmother, Hulda Jean Mobbs (Doretha Jones), and his brother, RaShawn Mobbs. Germorius leaves to cherish his memories his fiance, Trinetra Cyriak; his two daughters, Aniya and Mariah; his son, Germorius Lorenzo Reed, Jr; his mother, Viola Reed (Kendrick Butler); his father, Reginald Steven Mobbs; his siblings, Latessa Reed ( Donald Ray Randall) of Morrow, LA, Fredrick Batiste (Courtney Barry) of Lecompte, LA, Lafredra Batiste, Tanzhanie Woodfox, Rayquan Kelly (MaKayla Kelly) all of Alexandria, LA, Deonte Kelly of Houston, TX, Kiaijahnii LaCour of Dallas, TX, Dylan James of Huntsville, TX, Shaylay Rax and Fredricia Waren of Pineville, LA, Desavian Starks of Bunkie, LA. Germoriuse leaves behind his uncles, Otis Williams Jr (Shonta Handy), Michael Paul Deal (Kenya Sheppard), Oliver Deal (Whitney Deal); aunts, Shontell Reed, Monica Byrd (Radio Byrd), Dr. Lawanda Mobbs, Angela Mobbs, Yolanda Ford, Aleshia Jones, and Venita Jones. A Celebration of Life will be held at Christian Love Baptist Church, on Friday, February 12, 2021. Public viewing and visitation will begin at 10 am, with services beginning at 11 am.
