With profound sadness we announce the passing of Eura Lee Collins, our loving and devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt and friend to all whose lives she touched.

On March 13, 2024 she went to her resting place. She was 56 years old. Eura was born on July 22, 1967, in Pineville Louisiana to Rosemary Butler and Joseph Murray.

Eura attended Bolton High School in Alexandria, Louisiana. She went on to become a Certified Nursing Assistant. She never met a stranger. Her vibrant personality is one of the many things she will be remembered for. She was a devoted grandmother, mother and wife. In her spare time she loved spending time with her family and cooking was one of her specialties.

Eura met the love of her life William Collins on March 28, 1991. They later married on August 17, 1996 in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

Eura Collins was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Murray; her mother, Rosemary Butler; brother, Randlette Butler; niece, Miracle
Butler; nephew, El DeMario Butler and great-nephew, Deontae Thomas.

Survivors include her daughter, Lequita King (Jeffery); three grandkids, Ashanti Butler, Jeffery J. King, Jeremiah King; sister, Cassandra Johnson (Willie); brother, David Butler (Ashtyn); and a host of nieces and nephews.
