Edward Joubert, Jr. Obituary (1959

Edward Joubert, Jr. was born on June 22, 1959, in Pineville, Louisiana to the late Susie Mae Eggins and Edward Joubert, Sr. Edward was born one of four siblings. He received his formal education in. the Rapides Parish School System and graduated from Peabody High School class of 1977. After graduated went into the workforce working as a laborer on the railroad. He later met the love of his life, Sheila L. Sanders. The two married July 28, 1991. On Sunday, April 30, 2023, Edward was transitioned from earth to glory at his Alexandria residence surrounded by his loving family. Edward was preceded in death by his parents Susie Mae Lavalais and Edward Joubert, Sr; daughter Erika Davis; stepson Michael Sullivan; grandson Jaylen Joubert and brother Samuel Joubert and niece Sherrell Joubert. Edward is survived by his loving wife Shelia L. Joubert of the home; daughters Mary Joubert and Juanita Hobson (Terrell) and stepson Percy Sullivan, Jr. all of Alexandria, LA; two sisters Cheryl Ann Joubert and Kathlene Joubert-Walker; one brother Keith Lavalais; Edward also leaves a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and grandchildren and he will be missed by everyone who knew him.
