Arnold Anthony Blunt

Arnold Anthony Blunt was born on August 12, 1950 to the late Doris Alexander and August Blunt in New Orleans, Louisiana.

On Wednesday, March 13, 2024 Arnold passed at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital.

Arnold was raised in New Orleans and joined the United States Air Force after graduating High School. He proudly served his country until he was discharged under honorable conditions on September 3, 1969.

Arnold worked various jobs after the military. In his most recent years he worked as a Private Investigator until his health began to decline. Arnold loved his family and enjoyed when he was able to spend time with them and have family gatherings.

Arnold was preceded in death by his spouse Vernice Green Blunt; son, Erskin Anthony Blunt; daughter, Bernice Elizabeth Blunt; siblings, Aaron Tankerson and Roulette Robinson.

He leaves to cherish his memories: two sons Arnold Blunt, Jr of Covington, LA and Derrick Blunt of Alexandria, LA; a sister Cheryl Taylor of Alexandria, LA; five grandchildren Arnold Paul Blunt, III, Omarion Blunt, Kevon Blunt, Eric Paul Blunt and Geneva Blunt; one sister, Sister Roulette Robinson of New Orleans, Louisiana other fraternal siblings.

A host of other aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends.
