Arnem "Bubba" Harris , Jr. Obituary (1947 - 2022)

Arnem (Bubba) was born December 6, 1947 to Katherine Odessa and Arnem Harris Sr in Pasadena, Ca. He spent his formative years in Altadena, CA with his Aunt Ora and Uncle Grady where he worshipped as a Seventh Day Adventist. He later moved to Watts, Ca and resided with his sister Ora Lee until her death in 1974. Bubba was an Avid Explorer. He was often chastised for hopping the trains from Watts to downtown Los Angels, traveling with the "hobos" He was said to have fathered one son he lost contact with when he moved to Los Angeles. He helped to raise his God son; James Marshall. Bubba moved to Alexandria, LA. In 1985 to find his older sister Patricia and helped to care for his step brother George(Butch)Varsan. It was during this time he met his second family John (Poochie Boy) who preceeded him in death] and Virge Madden; who he resided with until his death. He adopted Virge(Mau) as his sister as Mau took care of Bubba until his death. Bubbas' parents Odessa and Lee; his eldest sister Ora Lee, his niece Lea Harris Sykes preceded him in death. A special friendRobert Jackson who introduced him to his second family "The Maddens" He leaves to mourn Him one sister: Patricia Harris Belvin(Willie), one niece Denise Joshua Rawls both of El Dorado, AR. Two nephews: Dayton(Angela) and Rev. Darryl(Carmen) Jones of Los Angeles, one great niece: Antionette Sykes of Alexandria, LA and nineteen great nieces and nephews of Los Angeles, CA. Bubba also leaves His Very Special Sister: Virge (MAU) Madden, Tina, Michael and LaQuanda Fraley, John Dotson, Aleana Perry and his Special helper Tekeydra Balthazar. The Family of "Bubba" send a special 'Thank You' to "The Madden Family" who loved and cared for him for 37 years. A very special thank You to 'Nurse Crystal' who brought Bubba lunch during his weekly dialysis treatments.
